Geyser Splash Pad — Stone Mountain Park

A seasonal water play area inside Stone Mountain Park with jets, splash features, a trickling creek, and a small sandy area for little ones. It’s a fun, easy way for kids of different ages to cool off, with shaded seating nearby for parents.

Kelley Cofer Park Splash Pad — Tucker

A seasonal, ground-level splash pad inside Kelley Cofer Park where kids can run through gentle water jets and cool off on hot days. The park also has a public pool and a small lake, making it an easy, low-stress stop for families — and it’s very close to our Tucker house, perfect for a quick afternoon outing.

Centennial Olympic Park — Downtown Atlanta

A free and very convenient downtown stop with open lawns and a seasonal interactive fountain where kids can splash and run through the water. It’s easy to pair with a stroll around the park or a visit to nearby attractions, and it’s a good option if you’re already downtown with kids. It’s also close to the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola if you want to take a break and cool off.

Legacy Fountain — Piedmont Park

A large, energetic splash pad with lots of water jets — great for cooling off quickly and pairing with a picnic or playground time nearby. Free.

Zoo Atlanta Splash Fountain

A small but very kid-friendly water area inside the zoo — perfect for a hot afternoon visit. Requires zoo admission.

Glenlake Pool — Decatur

A family-friendly public pool with shallow areas for little swimmers and open space for bigger kids — and it’s the closest pool option for our Scottdale–Decatur homes.

Rosenfeld Pool — Smoke Rise

A community outdoor pool just a 2-minute drive from our Stone Mountain home. The pool is newly renovated and includes water slides and a playground. It is open seasonally with designated swim hours and picnic areas nearby.

Mountain Park Aquatic Center & Activity Building — Stone Mountain

A larger aquatic center near Stone Mountain with a pool and activity building — a good option for families looking for more than just a neighborhood pool.

Piedmont Park Aquatic Center — Downtown Atlanta
